Chicken wings in Amsterdam: buffalo or fried
Two kinds of wings, one kitchen that takes them seriously. Buffalo wings and fried chicken wings, in 5, 10 or 15 pieces, home made like everything else here.
Buffalo or fried?
Buffalo wings come tossed in the classic hot-sauce coating: tangy, spicy, unmistakable. Fried chicken wings are the purist's choice, crispy outside and juicy inside, ready for dipping. Both are 9.50 for 5 pieces, 17.50 for 10, 23.00 for 15.
The dipping strategy
Wings ask for sauce. The home made ones are the move: sriracha mayonnaise for creamy heat, piri piri for a sharper burn, or chicken gravy if you want comfort. Basic mayonnaise, ketchup, BBQ, sweet chili and mustard stand by as well, every sauce 1.00. The whole line-up is on the menu page.
Wings as a starter, or as the meal
Five pieces is a proper starter while the rotisserie chicken turns. Fifteen pieces with Vleminckx fries and coleslaw is a wing night, no main needed. Chicken tenders (boneless, from 9.75) are the same idea for people who want zero interruption.
At the bar or on the couch
In the restaurant, wings meet draft beer and a game of picking the next sauce. At home, they survive the ride: order delivery via UberEats, Deliveroo or Thuisbezorgd, daily 16:00 to 21:30. Eating in on a busy night? Book your table online first.
